Overview

The SF₆ Gas-Insulated Voltage Transformer is a fully enclosed electromagnetic voltage transformer using SF₆ as the insulating medium. It converts primary high voltage of 35–550 kV into standard secondary voltage through electromagnetic induction, providing metering, measurement, relay protection and automatic control signals for power systems.

Core Structure

The product consists of an aluminum alloy or stainless steel enclosure, high-voltage porcelain or composite bushing, shielded winding, iron core, SF₆ sealing system, density relay, explosion-proof device and secondary terminal box.

The interior is filled with high-purity SF₆ gas at 0.4–0.6 MPa gauge pressure at 20°C, providing excellent insulation performance, heat dissipation, aging resistance, non-combustibility and explosion-proof protection.
