Overview
The SC(B) series epoxy cast Dry-Type Distribution Transformer feature cores made of electrical-oriented silicon steel or amorphous alloy, with coils cast in epoxy resin. They offer excellent fire and moisture resistance, are pollution-free, and possess self-extinguishing, flame-retardant properties.
Ideal for urban power grid upgrades, these transformers are specifically designed for critical locations requiring superior flame retardancy, explosion-proofing, and moisture protection. This includes high-rise buildings, commercial centers, theaters, hospitals, hotels, tunnels, subways, underground power stations, laboratories, transport hubs, docks, airports, and combined substations.
Structural Features
Design: Three-phase, three-limb laminated core with full winding coverage.
Performance: The optimized magnetic circuit—specifically the shorter path of the center limb—significantly reduces no-load current.
Materials: Made of H-class film-coated flat copper wire and high-quality epoxy resin insulation.
Durability: Moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, and features low partial discharge.
Stability: Offers excellent dynamic and thermal stability, ensuring the coils remain securely positioned during both transport and operation.

Performance Advantages
Low Noise: Noise level below 55 dB. The transformer uses high-quality amorphous alloy, optimized magnetic flux density, and a suitable natural vibration frequency of the iron core. All clamping parts are cushioned with silicone rubber and elastic components to reduce vibration amplitude.
Low Loss: Complies with energy efficiency standards. The amorphous alloy material features a non-crystalline structure, low magnetizing power, high resistivity, and low eddy current loss. Advanced leakage flux calculation to reduce stray loss, prevent local overheating, lower winding hot-spot temperature rise. Optimized wire transposition to reduce circulating current loss caused by leakage flux.
High Dielectric Strength & Longevity: The solid insulation system, composed of premium resin and glass fiber, offers high electrical strength with partial discharge strictly controlled within ≤5pC. This low partial discharge ensures no cracking or degradation of insulation levels throughout the transformer's entire service life.
Enhanced Cooling & Overload Capacity: Equipped with a cooling system consisting of multiple low-noise radial fans, the unit effectively lowers operating temperatures and boosts overload capabilities. It is designed to handle long-term periodic loads as well as temporary emergency loading conditions.
